Software Developer, Clover Wireless

Clover Wireless is seeking an experienced JavaScript and Python Software Developer to join its team of web-based application developers in building and maintaining its growing suite of services. We’re a small, agile bunch and we’re looking for more programming firepower to bolster our ranks. You’ll be helping in the design and development of a wide range of public-facing and internal web-based applications and the infrastructure to support them.

This is a full time position and will be based in New Haven, CT.

Skills & Qualifications

*   Highly proficient JavaScript and Python programmer
*   Thorough knowledge of HTML and CSS.
*   Experienced with Django and/or other web application frameworks.
*   Experienced with both server-side (NodeJS, etc) and client-side (jQuery, BackboneJS, etc) JavaScript frameworks.
*   Experienced with both traditional RDBMS and “NoSQL” datastore methodologies.
*   Experienced with asynchronous processing with platforms like RabbitMQ.
*   Experienced with distributed version control systems such as Mercurial and Git.
*   Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
*   Self-driven, highly analytical, and detail-oriented.
*   A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
