People don’t normally associate Bridgeport with software companies. But GoECart, an e-commerce software provider up in the Park City, is changing that perception.
Born in a dorm room at the University of Bridgeport, the company now has over 20 employees and has moved into a brand new office space at 855 Main Street, the old Southern Connecticut Gas building. Their new home on the building’s 4th floor will help GoECart accomodate growth as they take on the competitive e-commerce software world. The company is led by Manish Chowdhary, a distinguished alumni of UB.
“These are exciting times for GoECart, as we continue to add clients and partners on an almost daily basis,” says Manish. “We need the new space to help facilitate our growth, and staying in Bridgeport was of paramount importance to us. GoECart and I both have deep roots in Bridgeport, dating back to when we launched the business from my dorm room in Bodine Hall, on the University of Bridgeport campus.”
He continues, “While we are proud to be able to continue our growth and expansion, we know we owe a deep debt of gratitude to our clients, partners and the City of Bridgeport for the support they have all shown GoECart over the years. And we’ll repay that debt by continuing to add enhancement and improvements to our flagship commerce suite, GoECart 360, and delivering quick and comprehensive Customer service and support from our new headquarters right here in Bridgeport.”
The company is also hiring in all areas of their business. You can browse their open jobs at http://www.goecart.jobs/.
