The City of Bristol is excited to launch StartUP Bristol: a business plan competition to encourage the area’s most promising entrepreneurs and startup companies to locate in the “All Heart” City.

  • Applicants have the opportunity to win grant awards from $5,000 to $30,000 to help grow their businesses. Multiple awards are anticipated, but funding is limited. A small group of accomplished local entrepreneurs will judge entries.
  • Applicants must be able to answer “yes” to the following questions in order to qualify:
    • Are you an entrepreneur in the concept stage, or a new business looking to grow?
    • Are you located in Bristol, or willing to relocate your business to Bristol if chosen for an award?

To learn more and apply, head to bristolct.gov/startup or search “Startup Bristol” on Facebook. The deadline to file an application is Monday, September 21.
